Recently, we were invited by Mr.Dan suellen, the Beijing Rep. Officer of the friendly city of Tianjin ,the Mongolia Ulan Bator. So we are willing to visit Ulan Bator as a delegation on economy and trade in the middle of August.

 

We establish friendly relations with Ulan Bator since September 27, 1992.Ulan Bator is the capital of Mongolia and it is the biggest city of the Mongolia, with the population of nearly one million. The city is located in the central of the north and in the middle of Mongolian Plateau, altitude 1351 meters. It is a modern city featured with grassland style, and it also is a city with the youngest average age of the world.

 

Ulan Bator is the center of culture, industry and finance in Mongolia. The mainly mineral resources around the city are coal. Light and food industry are its main industries, mainly including farming and animal husbandry products processing,leather,carpet,hair-felt,soap,textiles,clothing,cement,steel,brick,car-repair and make wine etc.

 

Ulan Bator is the center of the traffic in Mongolia and it is also the transportation hinge. There are many highway and air lines leading to domestic provinces and cities. Also there are railways to China and Russia. The railway departments of Ulan Bator and Tianjin have close cooperation and have friendly exchanges on trade.
