On July 22, 2014, President of Minho Enterprise Institute Rui Fernandes, Director of Minho Enterprise Institute Filipe Silva came to visit. President Wang Yuying and Secretary-General Hu Xiaopian met with them. Both sides had in-depth talks on strengthening exchange and cooperation and promoting the exchange between enterprises of Tianjin and Portugal. Both sides signed friendship agreement after meeting.

President Rui Fernandes briefly introduced Minho Enterprise Institute. He expressed that Minho Enterprise Institute is a non-profit organization which aims to help local enterprises out of economic crisis and create more employment opportunities. On the other hand, Minho Enterprises Institute aims to help the biotechnology, communication and electrical energy companies go global. His visit to Tianjin is to know more about Chinese market and get more information for Portugal companies. Minho Enterprise Institute wishes to strengthen friendship with Tianjin Sister-City Council for the Promotion of Enterprises and promote the practical cooperation between enterprises.

President Wang Yuying welcomed Rui Fernades’ visit. He introduced the background of TSCPE’s foundation and its task. He expressed that TSCPE is willing to strengthen cooperation with Portugal enterprises to promote the economic and cultural exchange between Tianjin and Portugal.
