From May 3 to 4, 2018, Mayor Daniel Martinez of Montevideo led a high-level delegation of government and business to Tianjin. On the afternoon of May 3, Uruguay Embassy in China and China Council for International Trade Tianjin Sub-Council jointly held the Forum on Trade and Investment Opportunities in Montevideo. More than 80 entrepreneurs from China and Uruguay and President Wang Yuying of Tianjin Sister-City Council for the Promotion of Enterprises attended this forum.
